The
term mantra comes from the Sanskrit for ‘instrument of thought’.
Mantras play an important
role in Hinduism and Buddhism - as sacred texts or chants that are
repeated to achieve enlightenment. I use the term mantra to mean
an ever-present, guiding principle that continually informs action and
thought. This very short phrase , ‘making research relevant’,
tells you more about my approach to consultancy than pages of mission statements and
position papers would.
Most organisations have a broad choice when it comes to potential consultants and
experts. What sets
my offer apart is that all the work is informed by academic
research that I have either carried out myself, or with which I
am extremely familiar.
My rare and valuable expertise is being
able to make ideas from this research accessible and useful to
you. This is very different from relying on an off-the shelf approach; a regurgitation of
(out of date)
textbooks; or a stock of 'war stories'.
My passion is developing valuable, long term solutions
that address particular issues your organisation faces. These
solutions are based on cutting-edge research. |
